Last updated: November 3, 2026
TV Mounting Bay Area, operated by Artur Astanov , respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through tvmountingbayarea.com (the “Site”) and when you contact or book us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us when you fill out a booking, contact or price-estimate form, call, text or email us:
- Name, phone number and email address
- City, neighborhood or service address
- Details about the job: TV size, mount type, extras, wall type, preferred date and time, and any notes or photos you send
- Whether you agreed to receive text messages
Information collected automatically when you visit the Site:
- Technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited and the time of your visit
- Information from cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5)
We use your IP address on our servers to limit spam submissions and protect our forms.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your request, give you a price and schedule your visit
- To perform the service, send confirmations, arrival updates and invoices
- To send you a copy of your request or estimate by email, if you provided an email address
- To answer questions and provide support under our workmanship guarantee
- To protect the Site from spam and abuse
- To understand how visitors use the Site and improve it
- To keep records required for taxes, accounting and legal obligations
3. Text messages
If you check the consent box, we may text you about your request (confirmations, scheduling, arrival updates and follow-ups). Consent is optional and not required to book. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all information-sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that deliver our messages on our behalf.
4. How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers who help us run our business and only for that purpose: our website host, email delivery service, scheduling and invoicing software (such as Housecall Pro), payment processors (such as card processors and Venmo), and spam protection (such as Cloudflare Turnstile, if enabled)
- When required by law, such as to respond to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, safety or property
- If our business is sold or transferred, as part of that transaction, under this policy’s protections
5. Cookies and third-party website services
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies that are needed for it to work, such as remembering settings and protecting forms from spam. Some features load content from other providers, which may receive your IP address and browser information when the page loads:
- Maps: OpenStreetMap and CARTO (service area map)
- Fonts: Google Fonts
- Spam protection: Cloudflare Turnstile, if enabled
- [Analytics: Google Analytics, if you add it — remove this line if not used]
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the Site may not work properly without them.
Do Not Track. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal. There is no common standard for responding to it, so the Site does not currently change its behavior when it receives one. [If Google Analytics or ad pixels are added, update this paragraph to say whether third parties may collect information about your activity over time and across websites.]
6. How long we keep information
We keep request and job records for as long as needed to provide the service, honor our workmanship guarantee and meet tax and accounting requirements, generally up to [7 years]. Requests that did not turn into a job are deleted within [2 years]. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 8).
7. How we protect information
The Site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
8. Your choices and rights
- Review, correct or delete. You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep by law.
- Text messages. Reply STOP to any message, or contact us, to stop texts.
- Emails. We only email you about your request. Tell us if you prefer not to receive them.
To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within 45 days and may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
California residents. We are a small local business and do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor the requests above for all customers. Under California’s “Shine the Light” law, you may ask whether we disclosed personal information to third parties for their direct marketing; we do not.
9. Children’s privacy
The Site and our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the Site.
